Fletcher Miller School Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Jeffco Public Schools

Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Jeffco Public Schools’ Fletcher Miller School, a project that has been a true labor of love over the past three years. Designed to go far beyond code, this school meets the unique needs of students with multiple and severe disabilities, providing state-of-the-art learning environments, accessibility, and comfort.

Walking through the halls alongside students, staff, and caregivers made the impact undeniable. Comments like “Christmas came early” captured just how meaningful this space will be each and every day.

A huge shoutout to our Fletcher Miller team (Jordan Taylor Fitts, Chas Marquez, Ashley Trunnell, & Jack Mousseau) for the incredible work that went into creating such a special and inclusive school. The care behind this project will be felt for generations, as these deserving students learn and grow in an environment built uniquely for them.

A very special recognition goes to Project Architect Melissa Knesal, who poured her heart and soul into every detail. The passion she brought to this project was evident not only in her powerful speech, but in every thoughtful moment throughout the building.
