Longmont Medical Offices

Longmont, Colorado
Transforming a Community Medical Hub

This multi-phase renovation revitalizes a medical office building in Longmont for a regional healthcare provider, bringing the facility up to current brand standards and modernizing key program spaces. MOA ARCHITECTURE worked closely with the client to extend the building’s lifecycle, updating patient care areas, staff workspaces, and support spaces while maintaining full operations throughout the two-year construction process.

  • Renovation
Check-in desk with a blue welcome canopy, wood-front counters, potted plants, tiled flooring, and a colorful abstract mural behind the workstation area.
Behavioral health waiting area with colorful circular wall art, gray and orange seating, patterned carpet, teal accent wall, and a doorway marked “Behavioral Health.”
Harmonizing Function and Brand Identity

The project was guided by the need to create a cohesive, welcoming, and functional healthcare environment that reflects the provider’s brand identity. MOA’s team began with a detailed assessment of the existing facility, developing a flexible matrix of recommendations that could adapt to evolving budgets and schedules. Every design decision—from finish palettes to furniture coordination and local artwork integration—was made with the goal of improving patient experience, reinforcing the provider’s identity, and fostering a modern, efficient workspace for staff.

Lobby seating area with lounge chairs and sofas, a tall wood-paneled ceiling, tiled flooring, colorful acoustic wall panels, and clerestory windows.
Clinic workspace with open workstations, wood cabinetry, a side kitchenette, overhead lighting, wood-look flooring, and a corridor leading to the imaging area.
Elevating Patient and Staff Experience

The renovation transforms the facility into a more efficient, patient-focused environment. Updates include refreshed laboratory, pharmacy, imaging, and clinic wings, as well as restructured team workstations and a new behavioral health pod. The lobby now functions as a bright, welcoming entry point rather than a simple waiting area, while wayfinding improvements and consistent branding enhance the visitor experience. Staff benefit from improved workflow and collaboration, ensuring the facility supports both operational efficiency and high-quality patient care for years to come.
