Opening Day Marks Completion of Phase 1 at Arrupe Jesuit High School

Jan 07, 2026

Today we celebrated Opening Day at Arrupe Jesuit High School, marking the completion of Phase 1 and the first day students stepped into classrooms, labs, and a gym designed just for them.

The spring semester began with a student assembly, a blessing of the new building, and inspiring words from Denver City Council President Amanda Sandoval, a longtime advocate for equity and education, and Ken Salazar, former United States Senator and Secretary of the Interior. They reminded students that their voices, their stories, and their education matter.

Over the next nine months, Phase 2 will focus on renovating the existing building to create new classrooms, administrative spaces, and updated learning environments.

Seeing these spaces filled with students is a powerful reminder of the difference this work makes, and it’s incredibly gratifying to witness!
