The Denver Seminary Campus

Littleton, Colorado
Master Planning a Campus for Today and Tomorrow

When Denver Seminary outgrew its former campus after more than 30 years, MOA was selected to master plan and design a new, 20.3-acre campus along the South Platte River in suburban Denver. The campus includes seven new buildings: a student center, learning resource center and bookstore, library, administration and counseling center, education center with chapel, and four student housing buildings totaling 93 units. The campus combines academic, residential, and community spaces within a thoughtfully landscaped environment.

Designing Spaces That Foster Connection and Growth

The design emphasizes connection, community, and reflection. Academic buildings are organized around a central landscaped quad that welcomes students and encourages interaction, while the area along the South Platte River is preserved in its natural state to offer quiet spaces for study, contemplation, and relaxation. Housing options range from one- to three-bedroom units, providing flexibility and choice for students while fostering a sense of belonging. The campus layout promotes engagement, learning, and personal growth through both shared and private spaces.

Shaping a Campus That Inspires Learning and Community

The new Denver Seminary campus supports the college’s mission by providing a modern, functional, and inspiring environment for 2,200 graduate students. By integrating academic, residential, and recreational spaces, the campus fosters a vibrant community while respecting the natural landscape. Students benefit from flexible learning spaces, access to housing, and opportunities for reflection, creating an environment that nurtures both personal and intellectual development.
