Built from a Lifelong Passion

The project was inspired by founder Jason Haas’s lifelong passion for climbing and dedication to the Front Range climbing community. Recognizing a gap in accessible climbing facilities between Denver and Boulder, Haas envisioned a local hub where climbers could train, socialize, and receive specialized care. The design emphasizes holistic fitness and community engagement, integrating climbing, strength training, wellness, and physical therapy services in one vibrant facility.

Strengthening Community One Climb at a Time

G1 Climbing + Fitness establishes a centralized gathering place for the local climbing community while supporting climbers’ physical health and performance. The second-floor bouldering space and viewing platform create opportunities for social interaction and learning, while the “climbers clinic” provides specialized treatment for climbing-related injuries. By offering a broad range of fitness, wellness, and training amenities in one location, the facility strengthens community connections, fosters skill development, and promotes the growth of climbing as both a sport and lifestyle in the Broomfield area.
