Sierra Zanier

Interior Designer
Sierra graduated from Colorado State University in May 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design. During her senior year, she participated in the Solar Decathlon, where her team reimagined Orlando's International Airport to become a net zero building. She gained hands-on experience in sustainable design and collaborative problem solving. She also interned at RMC DMC, developing valuable skills in graphic design, event space planning, and selecting finishes. Sierra began her career at MOA as an intern after graduating college and has since grown into a full-time Interior Designer. Through these experiences, she brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to creating functional, engaging, and well-designed spaces.

Favorite MOA Project

One of my favorite projects at MOA has been the Stanley Chocolate Factory in Estes Park. An iconic building that was originally built in 1909 as the town’s first church and has now been thoughtfully reimagined as a vibrant mixed-use destination. The renovation preserved the building’s historic character, restoring original exterior elements and incorporating salvaged woodwork and antique details, while introducing dynamic new programming like a chocolate factory, tasting room, retail space, and rooftop patios with mountain views. I love how the design celebrates the building’s rich history and transforms it into a welcoming space that connects people with both place and community.
