Kirstin Marshall

Kirstin is a licensed Project Architect in the state of Colorado interested in making architecture a more sustainable and forward thinking business that focuses on how to improve the current built environment. Her main interests in design are in sustainability, adaptive reuse and preservation believing that architecture has the power to create community centered places based on cultural history and influenced by the needs of the future. Kirstin received her Bachelors degree in Architecture with a Historic Preservation Certificate and Minor in Art and Art History from the University of Miami in 2018. While in school she spent time in Rome with the University of Miami's School of Architecture Rome Program in Fall of 2017 as well as traveled to Cuba and Colombia for studio projects.

Favorite MOA Project

Traverse Academy is a unique and one of a kind school MOA had the opportunity to work on. Its really a special project that puts mental health and the needs of kids ahead of the traditional classroom environment.

Adaptive reuse - changing an existing unused building into something completely different would be so fun and rewarding
