It’s about people.
I joined MOA ARCHITECTURE with a clear purpose: to help build and grow a healthcare practice rooted in impact. I had spent my career immersed in healthcare planning and design, and I knew the kind of work I wanted to be part of... work that truly supports patients, caregivers, and communities. What I found at MOA was something more.
A culture that values relationships as much as results.
A team that listens, really listens, to clients and to each other.
And a shared belief that design has the power to improve lives.
Over time, my role evolved, from healthcare leader to President, but my “why” hasn’t changed.
I stay because of the people I get to work alongside every day.
I stay because of the clients who trust us with their most meaningful projects.
And I stay because of the opportunity to make a difference, especially in rural and underserved communities where thoughtful design matters most.
MOA isn’t just where I work.
It’s where I’ve been able to grow, lead, and contribute to something bigger than myself.
My favorite MOA project is Traverse Academy, the nation’s first day treatment center owned and operated by a school district. This project is especially meaningful because it redefined how education and behavioral health can come together to support students in a truly holistic way. Traverse Academy was designed to provide a safe, dignified, and therapeutic environment where students can receive the care and structure they need to succeed both academically and personally. Being part of a project that broke new ground, challenged traditional delivery models, and created lasting positive impact for students, families, and the broader community is something I’m incredibly proud of.
