Emerging Professional
Assoc. AIA
Hi, I’m Jacki Lund. I support BIM model coordination, construction documentation, and helping bring the design vision to life—whether it’s a brand-new building or an interior renovation.

My focus is on working through every detail—from how the building is constructed down to how each room functions. I think visually and pay close attention to your feedback, creating diagrams and providing options that show how spaces work—like how many people fit comfortably or what different setup options could look like—so decisions feel tangible and easy to understand.

Behind the scenes, design decisions are carefully documented to ensure everything carries smoothly into construction. My goal is to bring your ideas to life and stay flexible as projects evolve, in a way that’s clear, practical, and tailored to your needs.

My Why

One moment really defined who MOA is for me. I was a block from the office when someone ran a red light and hit me. In an instant I was managing a totaled vehicle, insurance claims, and active project deadlines — simultaneously.

MOA responded without hesitation. I was given the time, space, and understanding I needed to work through it — no pressure, no expectation to push through. That experience confirmed something I hadn't fully appreciated before: this is a firm that doesn't just talk about caring for its people. It follows through.

And that's not an isolated moment — MOA continuously shows up. It's embedded in the culture. Senior staff invest real time in educating and mentoring. I feel genuinely supported on my path to licensure, with the room to take on challenges without being overwhelmed by the demands of everyday work. There's space here to develop at a pace that builds real competency.

What I value most is that there's no hierarchy around who gets to call themselves a designer. We all do. That shared identity fosters a team that is collaborative, deeply invested, and proud of the work we deliver.

Favorite MOA Project

I am inspired by all of our projects and the incredible depth of talent within our team of designers and collaborators. When I first moved to Denver as a student, I didn’t know anyone and had little sense of the city. Each day, I would drive through a new part of town on my way downtown, noticing the buildings and streets for the first time. The Denver Hospice Lowry Care Center immediately stood out—the sculptural chapel and light tower create an inviting, serene presence, conveying care and calm that is impossible to forget. Even years later, passing by the building reminds me of the power of thoughtful design to support patients, visitors, and the human experience.
