I chose to work at MOA because of its deeply people-centric ethos; it is a culture that isn't just stated, but actively lived by its leadership and reflected in everything the firm does. From day one, MOA has shown up for me through a genuine commitment to the values that matter most: collaboration, respect, and creating an environment where people can actually have fun while doing meaningful work. What truly differentiates MOA from other firms is the intentionality behind its culture. Many companies list values on a wall, but at MOA, those values shape decisions, relationships, and the work itself. The emphasis on socially relevant work and innovation-driven design means that every project carries purpose — we're not just designing for clients, we're designing for communities and for the future. That alignment between personal values and professional mission is rare, and it's what keeps me energized and proud to be part of this team.
We had an incredibly talented and high caliber team that was dedicated to delivering a project that is bringing life saving technologies to the world. This team faced several complex challenges including the paradigm shift of the COVID pandemic, relocating the project site, navigating a multifaceted entitlement process, and achieving outstanding sustainability goals. Through all stages the team moved swiftly and flawlessly to deliver a beautiful and innovative campus. Not to mention, the view of the flatirons is stunning.
