Yesterday, community leaders across the state including Governor Jared Polis and Estes Park Mayor Gary Hall celebrated the groundbreaking of the Stanley Film Center at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado.
This transformative project is led by the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority (CECFA) and its subsidiary, the Stanley Partnership for Art, Culture, and Education (SPACE). The Stanley is now a public entity, with over $150 million invested to preserve and expand this iconic site for future generations. This is a nonprofit investment in Colorado’s cultural future, creating a place where film, music, and storytelling will thrive.
Opening in 2028, the Stanley Film Center will include:
📽️ A 1,000-seat theater for performances, festivals, and screenings
👻 A world-class film museum curated by Blumhouse
MOA ARCHITECTURE is working in partnership with Saunders Construction as a design-build team.
