United States Air Force Academy Foundation & Association of Graduates Wecker Hall

Colorado Springs, Colorado

After outgrowing their current offices at Doolittle Hall, the Air Force Academy Foundation and Association of Graduates sought to build a new administration building on the Doolittle Hall Campus. Together, the Association of Graduates and the Air Force Academy Foundation work to better serve graduates, support the Air Force Academy, and preserve the heritage of the Long Blue Line. The new building will enable all staff for these philanthropic organizations to be housed in one building, increasing their ability to work together to pursue their joint mission and vision.

The new building will be designed and constructed to fit within the Air Force Academy’s stringent design standards. The mid-century modern design aligns with the United States Air Force Academy’s overall architecture scheme and complements neighboring Doolittle Hall. The design also incorporates the Prop & Wings Society monument in the plaza between Doolittle Hall and the new building. The new facility will create space for 80 to 100 individuals with breakout and teaming spaces, conference rooms, a kitchen, and a breakroom.
